Umm, that's weird - and I'm a girl. I don't think I ever gave a crap what kind of plates Mr Mercy ate from while we were dating. Are y'all engaged?? Living together??
I dunno, maybe this is some sort of 21st century chick marking her territory move. It just seems like she is making a statement here.
And just so you know, this isn't about you liking the plates, it's about her exerting control over the domestic side of your life. Tread lightly here - just saying...

This is a move here - trust me. I know womenz because I am a womenz. Plates are a little above my pay grade - in full disclosure, Im over 40, but I know a diagonal move when I see one. Girlfriend is eying a checkmate here.
