Starting tomorrow, the BR and NOLA areas are going to get hammered with a foot or more of rain. This will cause serious flooding.

It could get nasty.

me too. Man these trailers are the bees-knees during Christmas. No need to hang up no lights, just pump the brakes and voila! You have blinking Christmas lights.

I think we'll get 2-4 inches on both Thursday and Friday. Hopefully nothing like they're getting up North

It's gonna be like LSU Basketball - a total disappointment.

Our three water reservoirs were at 24% capacity a year ago today....they now stand at 96%, 100%/100%/90% respectively

The amount of water has been unbelievable

As the posts below yours indicate, everyone east of Lafayette thinks it has been a bust for them. The vast majority of the conversation has focused on NWLA, and rightfully so, but the rest of the state will be in trouble over the next 48 hours.

Projected rainfall over the next 3 days. This is in addition to what has already fallen:

How much rain fell way back in the early 90s that one time? I remember that flooded my street in Harahan that hadn't ever flooded before
