How much rain fell way back in the early 90s that one time?

Think that was around 20 inches or so, I was living in River Oaks then, was flooded over the entering road, so we were trapped in. A lot of houses in riverwood and covington country club got water too. We were out of school for a few days.

Are you not paying attention? 5 inches will be the norm with up to 12 inches in some areas.

Honest question - why do you come into weather threads and make such bold predictions?

2 inch. yest. over 2 so far today in these parts. Expect a couple of more tonight, with a repeat tomorrow. I imagine anywhere between 12 and 20'inches before its all through. NW La is getting pounded.

Convent, LA and Paincourtville, LA were never hit by an EF-3 tornado before February 23rd. Ever. Not once.

I never licked your wife's taint before last weekend.

Things change.

It isn't supposed to rain heavily in NOLA or BR until Friday morning, yet this thread will be full of people calling it a bust for the next 36 hours. I'm always amazed how upset weather predictions make people on this board.

It's just natural. It's really bc they hype forecasts so much so it gets everyone involved.
