I wonder how many of 'em had to check in with their PO first?

They certainly have a different look than your typical sales professional.

They were over here in Gonzales earlier this week...

The last thing I would want is having those convicts knowing anything about my home security.

Do they not still send BYU kids down here to sell?

Doesn't look like it.
Usually tashy looking, numb-nutted t-shirt wearing douchebags carrying around a pen and a clipboard,
As slack-jawed as they look, I doubt they can write.
Little shits will sit in a neighborhood all day and wait until after 5 pm to irritate you...

Technology is decent, but damn the sales strategy is horrible , they damn near try to force themselves into your home

It's a shame that there are companies out there with decent products that have to resort to aggressive and/or dishonest tactics to sell it. Rainbow vacs, for example. Appears to be a top-notch vacuum cleaner, but it seems very little is done to regulate what their reps are allowed to do or say to get you to agree to a demonstration. I don't believe I have ever purchased anything from someone standing at my front door, except for candy/raffle tickets from kids doing a school or church fundraiser.

True story, I had to get my pistol out of my bedroom to get the rainbow salesmen to leave. My then wife and MIL were interested and they were here for no less than 3 hrs. Told them no at least 4 times and they wouldn't leave.

Wife and I were married about a year when the Rainbow reps showed up. She was kinda stripper-hot and I agreed to the demo.
We still have the Rainbow. Wife has tried at least 10 times to get something to replace it and they all work for a year, then break somehow. Every single time we go back to the 20 year old Rainbow and it works like a friggin hoss.
