If he was cuffed after a pat down and being shot, I really don't know what they could say to justify all of it. I mean, how much common sense do you need to assess that situation as something completely different from the call that went out?

Thank god he's ok. If he was dead it could get even uglier somehow. Police need a better training program or something..why were they drawing guns in the first place? I think they need to assess the situation for themselves before busting in there with guns drawn based on some second hand info.

If he was dead we prob wouldn't know it went down like this, not that it would make a difference.

I wonder why did the video only shows right before and right after he was shot

Because he clearly robbed a bank before the camera rolled, then got up and took out his AK-47 after the filming stopped.

Remember that the Sterling cops pulled tasers first... something the people with an agenda love to ignore.

Serious question. Is a white man shooting a black man worse than a black man shooting a black man? If so, why?

Serous answer. No. Race does not factor into the value of a human life

I have no idea. I think it's clear from the video we have seen that there wasn't any immediate danger.

Why are these Latinos so quick to shoot blacks? Why are blacks so quick to blame whites? Rhetorical questions

The cops need to admit when they are wrong and in this case they were. I would hope the officer would quit on his own but if not they need to fire him right away, the department needs to apologize and they should give this guy some cash. If they do that right away, which is the right thing to do, things should be ok.

Perhaps accidental. Perhaps they were shooting at the kid and missed. Pretty strange regardless.

So just to clear up something;

1. Did he die?
2. Is the victim black?

If either one or two are no than there will be no riots/protests.

I don't disagree that there needs to be self accountability but this officer still needs to protect himself against a civil suit

Very possible

If the officer is fired, the department will fight a civil suit and let the victim go after the officer. likely they will still settle for tree fiddy
