Heard levee or something failed telling people to get out the area? Anybody confirm this?

I have not. Hopefully just a rumor. There have been a few of those last couple of days. But sure wish the Parish would give us more frequent updates.

I believe that's a rumor. Reports from officials in AP said no levees had failure.

I live in Lakeview on the corner of 929. We are dry as of now. Water is on 929 up to Madison Ave. water in the ditches is flowing out pretty good right now. I'm keeping an eye on it.

Parker Road to Henrey Rd seems to getting more water.

I have a house being built in this area, hope it stays dry. Is the water continuing to come up?

West Creek was okay as of this morning. But that may have changed. Black Bayou is full, still flowing sting but full.

I drove by West Creek an hour ago... their fully dry, the drainage ditch that runs through their subdivision had about 5 more feet to go before it topped over

We are still dry in Stonegate Manor. The drainage ditch behind us rose rather quickly today, but has tapered off for now.

Hello neighbor. Hopefully it's as high as it's going to get.

Can anyone tell me how the canal is looking in between Creekside and Cross Creek? Steady? Rising? Falling? And is it flowing or standing still. TIA
