Tiger you might be screwed...think Charleston is gonna get some before you can get out...ATL is gonna be shut down so a flight probably won't happen less u find a direct flight if that even exists. Might want to stay til tomorrow...

70 miles south of Athens. Raining hard and 34 degrees. A good bit of ice in with the rain and the trees are starting to show a bit of ice. Glad we are not further north, we're right on the edge of becoming a huge mess. Nobody is driving on the main road I can see.

I'm about 30 miles NW of Columbia. Heavy snow falling. Road is completely covered. It will be switching to freezing rain at some point, which is when the fun will really start.

Looking at the traffic cams, the interstates around Columbia are essentially deserted right now.

Warner Robins, GA here and nothing but rain. It's supposed to drop to the mid to high 20's. So freezing should occur at some point.

Dallas GA. Good bit of ice on road and ground which does not bother me. A lot of ice coating every branch on every tree which makes me nervous.

East Cobb. Frozen rain, snow. Foliage struggling with the weight of ice. Birds were singing this morning, however.

East Cobb here..off Post Oak Tritt. Been listening to ice pellets hit the windows steady since 5:45am. I couldn't walk across the driveway if I tired, solid ice. Looks like snow outsid ebut we haven't had a flake today. Solid white ice.
My Magnolia branches are building up and hanging low. I have CobbEMC Power and they are reporting less than 100 people without so far. They are fixing issues as they arise and are on standby which is awesome.
Sounds like snow tonight.

Seems like it started earlier, to me. Maybe 04.00?

First two pics in Alpharetta off Haynes Bridge. Don't know where the GDOT truck bit the big one.
