What is a 19 year old still doing in high school?
Over 18 should not be a legal issue.

Any LLotOT care to share what y'all think goes through the minds of these women? I know no one really understands women, but you ladies have a better insight than we do.
I can’t speak for the teachers banging 14 year olds, but I imagine they’re lonely or feeling neglected at home & this boy is friendly and joking around with her. They develop a friendship. One night, after drinking a few glasses of wine, the texts become flirtier. It goes from there. People like attention & feeling desirable. Kind of like people who end up in affairs with coworkers because of proximity.
That said, I can’t begin to imagine why their rational brains don’t kick in at some point when they constantly see these stories on the news. I guess they believe they’re special and won’t get caught. Some women are so in need of attention and validation that they can’t be rational about it anymore. It’s pathetic.

23 years old is way too young to be a High School teacher. The adult brain doesn't get fully developed until like 25 or 26 years old.
23 may be fine for little kids and toddlers in primary school but not for a big school full of strapping and virile hormonal teenagers.

Student was 19? I think we can eliminate the valedictorian as the victim.

That’s like a college freshman and senior hooking up.
It's actually more like a fifth year senior and a senior and high school hooking up. I get your point, though.
