Here is a link to his website, maybe she should try to contact him.
He's a nice guy, he might have some suggestions to help her.

I'll pass that along, thanks.

imcdb.org/vehicles says the above car is a 1951 Chevrolet Styleline De Luxe Four-Door Sedan.

A lot like one of the cars driven by Micky Roarke's Harry Angel character in Angel Heart (1987)

Fun fact, I almost learned to drive a stick in that car. I had an English class with his daughter Natalie almost 30 years ago and we were doing a group project at her house. We got tired of working on the project and she said ‘hey do you wanna see the car I get when I turn 16?’ So we said sure and went down to the garage expecting a nice Mustang Saleen or similar but she pulled the tarp off that white testarrosa.

Then she asked if I wanted to take it for a spin and I told her I didn’t know how to drive a stick and she offered to teach me after she got her license. A month later her bf got busted with coke and she got shipped off to boarding school in CT and I never saw her again.

Legitist cool story I've read here in quite some time.

George Foreman's car collection is up for sale by el Gaucho
All that from just inventing a gimmick grill

He tells a story about him wanting to skip the initial meeting with them. "The grill thing?" His wife insisted. I bet she never reminds him.

she has, Barrett-Jackson and others, they want you to give it to them
That does not compute.

They are an auction house. They don't buy your car. They get a percentage of the sale price.

The higher the sale price, the more money they make.

their fees are like borrowing money from the mob, if your whip sells for anywhere close to its value you’re taking a big loss

I was gonna consider buying one of those to add to my collection and then i remembered that not only, do i not have a car collection, but also, can’t afford any of the ones shown so that eliminates that problem for me

They have an 8% seller's fee and a 10% buyer's fee.

Given the way people overbid at Barrett-Jackson, it's not a bad seller's fee.

Mecum cgarges 6%, but people don't tend to go full-blown idiot like they do when bidding at Barrett-Jackson.

Awesome collection. He has been rich for a long time. You can tell some newer purchases of classics from things he bought at the time.

That blue El Dorado has to be a purchase made as champ.

pretty sure you’ve got to pay to have it in the auction facility as well

ETA: 18% is pretty steep, imo

10% of that is on the buyer.

If someone bids 100K for a car, they are one the hook for 110K

Seller has to pay 8%

I'll admit that I'm not up on high end car auction procedures, all I'm saying is that I have a friend with a car collection about the same size as Foreman's, and with on average, more valuable cars, she is looking to downsize and has dealt with B-J quite a bit and says it's not worth their fees to try and sell them through them, she's a smart business woman, I'm assuming she knows a lot more about that than me

a friend of mine has a similar collection of vehicles that she's been trying to sell ever since her husband died, hard to offload hem en masse without giving them away

If she wants to unload them all an auction is about the only way to go short of hiring someone to prep and market them individually which would probably cost even more than the fees the auction houses charge.

Tell us more about Natalie. She’s pretty hot.
