No most of these are privately funded neighborhood-based educational agendas about the history of the neighborhood
the grants none of them come in you were close to three figures in fact the biggest one I know about 40 grand and a lot of that is paid for by people developing getrfying other parts of the neighborhood
Does some taxpayer dollars get wasted in it no doubt but this crap especially from the Louisiana based board and the money wasted by your government in protecting historic New Orleans and the culcha so people can get shot while on vacation
puhlease

I never said they do. The author’s bio tells me she probably doesn’t.
At the same time, kind of tough to have outrage at a sentence that is legally accurate.

Imagine celebrating a guy that was using fentanyl, held up a pregnant woman at gunpoint, and glorifying him like he was a good guy!

Erasing history and culture huh?
Say their names. Jefferson, Beauregard, Fort Polk, Lee, etc.

I think Chauvin was guilty and belongs in prison,
From reading a lot of the medical reports, Floyd was dying of his own poor and illegal choices - the officer did not cause his death. The display of behavior of this officer was terrible, but that is a disciplinary issue rather than criminal.

As someone stated on another thread, ".... economic growth and culture can't seem to coexist."
