I can remember using a plain 35 mm film point and shoot camera for Spring Break in the late 90s. You didn’t know what the pictures would show until after your trip ended.

Or on vacations you wanted to make sure you packed enough film for your camera cause film was always more expensive at hotels, gift shops, etc.
