Yeah there a few pictures in boxes and maybe some vhs tapes from holidays and special occassions but I am talking about your daily existence. The ability now to take instant pictures and video of things that might interest you on a given day.

GenX can do this now of course but our pre-and early adult daily life experiences are mostly gone. Maybe some of the oldest Millennials are in the same boat? But many of them had digital cameras.

I mean....I was born in '87 and I didn't get involved on social media until '05-'06. Is that what we're talking about here?

Good luck to the 31 year old who wants to be involved in politics and he thought his .edu Facebook posts were private when he was in college.

Not really. I am more talking about cellphone and digital camera pics and videos of day to day things.

That's not true. I was well into my 20's by the time smart phones, cameras, and social media became a semblance of what it is now.

So glad that social media wasn't a thing back when I went to raves and parties. I met up with an old friend who had photoalbums, and she had a picture of me at the state palace with vapor rub on my face with a pacifier holding glow sticks. So glad social media didn't exist back then.

GenX is most likely to exaggerate about Millennials, constantly dwelling and obsessing on a group of humans who are just trying to make it through the day like every human before them.

Get a life GenX.

I'm thankful that there is zero video evidence of all of the dumb shite that I did when I was younger

I'd say closer to '05 where it started to get more norm. I know it's not much different amount of yrs, but lots in that time period.

I got one as a graduation present from LSU in 2000. They were like $300-400 back in the day

I'm a millennial, born in 88, and I don't know what you're talking about.
The VHS tapes or film cameras my family got when I was a kid are all I have. Digital cameras weren't prevalent until the 2000s.

Hard to fix a washing machine like that.

I’m not sure what point is being made in this thread.

But I loved the 80’s.

When I die, there won’t be many pictures of me. My GF and ger mom have taken more pics of me in 3 years than I have taken in the other 23.
