So, you came to the OT to show off your liberal college intellectual prowess? If you are so keen on discussion, explain why the presence of the flag is not a good thing simply because it allows you to have the slavery discussion. Seems to me you don't want a discussion. You want to erase the past in hopes that it will eliminate the racism. Won't happen.

Meanwhile over the weekend in New Orleans six people were murdered. Are people outraged and protesting about that, hell no there's a piece of fabric that needs to be yelled at in South Carolina. Why do we lack the ability to focus on the real problems at hand? The entire country can be distracted so easily.

Anyone know if this is going to interfere with the Dukes of hazard family reunion tour in Livingston parish on the 4th of July? I don't want to have to return my tickets, but I will if gen lee gets a paint job. Sorry to hijack, but we paid good money. :teamheritage:
