Mid 60s with health issues living with a man in advanced stages of Alzheimer’s.
Should definitely have been checked on every few days.

Just read that his wife was his sole beneficiary of his will. Kids not mentioned.
Her will states that her estate go to charity.

I guess we know now why the kids weren't checking on him.
