Gas jumped 30 cents overnight.

$3.09 here in Louisville east end of town yesterday, $3.39 today. How is that possible?

Bunch of derivatives traders ended up taking delivery on January gas they didn’t intend on taking it because of the sudden drop at Henry hub.

They had been holding strong at $2.99 or lower in my area and it all jumped in to the $3+ today.
