yep…they’re still mad

They most definitely are.

It's too bad Garth didn't introduce Brian Kelly on the stage last week before he sang it. Can you imagine how the bitter Irish would have reacted to that?

The entire national media is mad as hell at CBK for deserting Notre Dame for a team that can actually compete for titles.

If you don't think that ND is a darling child of the media, like USC, UT, and Bama, I don't know what to tell you.

The smear campaign against Kelly was out of control when he was hired. Especially the whole ridiculous "family" deal. He wasn't trying to sound southern, it was pretty damn clear the word got caught in his throat.

Do ND fans even care about LSU buying away Kelly?

I'm friends with 3 ND alums and they are salty AF. They liked Brian Kelly as their coach and that pisses them off, but what pisses them off the most is that he made a choice to leave ND for a better program. They think they are still Knute Rockne's ND.

Complete delusion.

The only thing the crowd went more wild for was when Trisha came out for Shallow.

That too was very loud in Tiger Stadium. I really thought at one point it was louder for Trisha than for "Callin Baton Rouge". The thought crossed my mind.

She sang Shallow and four of her biggest songs and the stadium was exploding for all of her stuff. I didn't expect any of her stuff.

As for Garth, Calling Baton Rouge, The Thunder Rolls, and Standing Outside the Fire were his biggest pops.

Standing Outside the fire was loud AF

When I saw Garth years ago in Bossier most of the audience seemed aggravated that Trisha was taking up time. Very sexist group up there in the far north.
