Yeah I would hate for a man's defense against allegations be, 'Just look at the way she dresses. She's just asking for me to touch her and possibly have sex with her.' Can we all just keep our hands to ourselves? I'm so glad I'm not in school these days with how open people are to accusing someone of harassment. It's a very blurry line between unwanted advances and what is classified as harmless flirting.

The way women reacted to what Gabby Douglas posted proves they're the mentally weaker sex.

The feminists reaction is ridiculous. I know one person who is a true SJW feminist and I always am just blown away when I talk to her. Her opinions are not rooted in reality. They aren't rooted in any sort of concrete truth. It's all about feelings and the truth changes based on the narrative or situation at hand. It's impossible to reason or argue with someone who is unreasonable.

Absolutely agree with this. It's why I always felt uncomfortable in certain attire and wouldn't leave dressed in too sexy clothing. You don't know what another person's reaction and behavior will be to what you have on. Doesn't make it right for them to touch you, but it's best to have that line of defense on your side that you aren't doing or wearing anything that have them that impression. It's not fair you have to watch what you wear as a woman, but I'd rather do what I have to in order to protect myself from harassment or assault.

I encourage women to dress like whores. It's funny they think it's empowering or sticking it to men when it's what we want.

1. Life isn't fair. And it never will be. Grow up.

2. You have to watch what you wear as a human. That's not unique to women. Men have to watch what they wear also.

I prefer a pant or dress suit to make me feel empowered. Having my arse or tits out just makes me feel more attractive when men look (not oogle and make some obscene gesture or comment) especially if I know my body looks good in the outfit. Women who work hard to look good, I have no problem with them showing off their body in appropriate settings. But always dressing like a stripper no matter where you go screams insecure and attention seeking.

Why would any woman think it's sticking it to men by dressing as a whore? Is it the whole teasing thing of you can look but not touch?

When do men have to watch what they wear? What do not look gay? Is that what you mean? I'm just asking for clarity on this point.

And no, life isn't fair. It's why I believe you have the right to wear what you want, but be prepared for those who don't respect that right to do so and will excuse your way of dressing as to why they can touch you.

Dude, if 1% of the population is socially awkward pervs, you'll run into several in a day.

We're talking common sense here, not utopia. The overwhelming majority of guys can control themselves but all it takes is one.

The answer to "why do I have to tone it down because of men" has nothing to do with the overwhelming majority of men.

So yes, if you're fishing you'll catch good and bad, and the bad can frick you up

Well the entire context of the tweet was about women being sexually assaulted. So I'm not the one making leaps in logic here.

You sound mad that dudes aren’t into you. But dudes don’t want to get involved with retards. That would be rape Bc a retard isn’t capable of consent. So sorry about your loneliness.

You expect logic from SJWs?

Yeah, I'm really trying to wrap my head around this thread. These were girls dressed in their gymnastics uniform going to their US team doctor for help and then being molested. I'm not sure where their clothing decisions as adults fits in to all of this. I didn't expect people on here to possibly be defending the doctor who took advantage of all these children but that's what it looks like.

Chappelle = GOAT

Or TL;DR version

Also, FWIW, IMO, if a guy were to use that excuse (way they dress) for forcing himself on a female, he's a piece of shite. Obviously, DC's comments were meant in a looking/staring at females and how you talk to them, kind of way.

I don't know what lsupride87 said that y'all are referring to, but if he says girls asked to get raped bc of how they dress, dude is a true POS.

Eta - and I understand what Gabby is saying, but just because a girl dresses a certain way bc they think it makes them look good, doesn't mean they deserve to have creeps stalking, molesting or raping them. That's just fricking weird and creepy.

If you think it's people looking at them, thinking they look good is what bothers them, you're an idiot. I believe they dislike the molesting and raping.
