I did not make a single friend or meet a single cool person while in class at LSU. True story.

No joke, I took that class with Tasmin Mitchell, Terry Martin, and Doug Planchard. It was obviously a blow off class, but my roommate talked me into taking it with him.
FWIW, I got some flak for it from a department head when looking at grad schools.

CSB: a friend of mine actually failed that class for lack of attendance. The prof cut him some slack and let him write a report to make up for the missed classes, which he then failed due to word for word plagiarism from an online article. What an idiot.
