Why does Louisiana not impound any car without insurance?

Wondering after wasting probably 30 minutes of taxpayers money arguing with this fat piece of crap that he wasn’t cited at the very least for what he was pulled over for. That’s BS.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
La. R.S. 32:863.1 requires that an operator of a motor vehicle produce upon
demand by a law enforcement officer documentation of motor vehicle
security which is required to be maintained within the vehicle at all times.
Failure to comply may result in fines, revocation of registration privileges,
and block against the renewal or issuance of a drivers license.
THIS CARD MUST BE CARRIED IN THE VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES AS EVIDENCE OF COVERAGE

Gravy basically saying, I cook meals and eat all the time, that could have been.

I assume most people get 2 cards when they renew their insurance. One to put in your wallet and one to put in the vehicle. I know things happen and there are situations in which someone, who has auto insurance, might not have their card available.. But what are some obvious reasons someone wouldn't have their auto insurance available?
Since Gravy is so handy with his cell phone, you would think he would have taken a photo of his insurance card and been able to show the photo to the officer upon his request.

So basically yelling, refusing to comply, and claiming that he shouldn't be pulled over because he was pulling out of his neighborhood.. actually worked?
Dang, we should all get behind this dude to grant all drivers immunity within a certain distance of their homes.

G. The only acceptable means of proof of a valid and current policy of insurance shall be one of the following:
(1) The insurance identification card, declaration page, or policy issued by the insurer.
(2) In the case of a self-insured vehicle as provided in R.S. 32:851 et seq., the certificate of self-insurance issued by the Department of Public Safety and Corrections.
(3) The records of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, if such records reflect that the motor vehicle is covered by a valid and current policy of liability insurance.
(4) The law enforcement officer making the stop has a reasonable belief that the motor vehicle is covered by a valid and current policy of liability insurance.
I was stopped a few months ago with no wallet but I had my insurance card.
Deputy used the information on that to pull up my information & make sure there were no warrants
He said the only thing that showed was an insurance cancellation last September (lost vehicle in flood)
Plus you can pull up insurance info on your phone
Wonder why he didn’t offer to do that?

Can i say he was out of line but that the cop probably could’ve just written the ticket and called it a night (if opting to pull him over at all)?
Most of these situations require two stubborn asses or idiots to make them spiral. A better cop probably ends that stop in 90 seconds and likely with a warning even if the drivers salty and disrespectful

Are you allowed to operate a motor vehicle in Louisiana without license? If I was an officer, I would have said “you’re not legally allowed to operate this car, you must vacate the driver’s seat.”

I wonder why Louisiana is at the bottom of every good list in this country.

Gravy also Never said, I've got insurance, I just don't have the card with me.
Also, probably why he didn't video when the Supervisor showed up.
He is really dumb.
WTF is up with him and Kibbles both having delusions about who/what they are. Kibbles claims she is like a mom to the whole city and Gravy thinks black men are the fathers of man kind.
These two parasites can't even support themselves, still depend on others to support them, dont have a damn job that pays anything, own fake business that do nothing, but they feel that they are so superior that they are the "parents" of everyone (ie taxpayers)

I watched it and as a white middle class worker had had similar experiences and anger. His anger and questions were legit. But I was forced to crawl out of my car window one time by an over zealous cop. It is not always a black thing.
