I have seen Oceans 11, 12 & 13, but I am asking realistically.

Anyone ever worked in a casino? Was there any type of rules that were followed in which the general public isn't really aware of.. Or that is at least.. not common knowledge?

Obviously, they serve free alcohol so that it will influence decision making. They don't put clocks up because they don't want people to be aware of they time. If you are more aware of the time, you are less likely to stay as long and the longer you stay the better chance you have of losing money.

Are there really eyes on everyone in the casino at all times? Do dealers get tipped well?

The house always wins.....Casinos arent in business to make their customers rich.

Feel like L’auberge would shut down if they couldn’t hand out free drinks

Top - Casinos offer games that are mathematically proven to be in their favor.

Bottom - Fools both knowingly and unknowingly play the games mentioned above.

Yeah I don’t know if it’s a state thing or Tribal rule.

All of the casinos here are owned by the various tribes.

Even businesses built on reservation land may have restrictions on selling alcohol. The Walmart and Target by my house are technically on reservation land....neither sell a drop of alcohol.

Indian casinos are by far the most shady. A lot of the time the same tribe that runs the casino also runs their own gaming commission.

I won't say which tribe, but one of the big ones has a law in place that their slots must payout a certain percentage or they will be fined.

When I last checked they had gone several years just paying the monthly fine because it was more profitable than paying out customers.

Really? That is interesting. I don't think I ever been to a casino that doesn't serve free alcohol.. Well, there are house tracks that have casinos in them, and I don't think they serve free alcohol..

Does anyone know of the Paragon in Marksville serves free alcohol? I have gone there once and plan to never go back to that place. The amount of time I spent there, in the actual casino, I don't know if I recall drinks even being served.

Yes I worked for one in Baton Rouge. You are on camera the minute you come on the property. Whats really strange is that everyone I know that plays regularly always wins. Or they believe they do. If you could see the count room every day you would know better.

I was told by someone working at an Indian casino in Oklahoma that casinos owned by Indian tribes don't serve alcohol due to the fact that the alcoholism rate among the Native American population is astonishingly high. They simply don't want to promote drinking.

Typically there's a vault at the bottom and a penthouse suite at the top.

You're not OT rich so you'll never see the inside of either one.

The dealers watch the players
The pit boss watches the dealers
The floor man watches the pitboss
The manager watches the floor man

And the eye in the sky watches us all
