Knew what the aircraft was before you saw it, not because of the brrrr, but the way those engines whined doing tactical maneuvers.

Watched them doing gunnery practice at a range during a TDY to Spain. Love watching them do their anti-SAM jinking maneouvers as they came off target.
Long live the BRRRRRRRTTTTTT

When my wife and I moved to Alexandria we would go park at the gate at the end of runway . I would drink beer and watch them take off and land . Those were the days .

Will forever be my favorite airframe. Looks excellent!

Imagine how much fun it would be flying that sucker and using that gun.

well, that's part of the deal
the last time I was at the Pacific Aviation Museum they did have a "simulator" where you could fly a Corsair or Mustang, iirc, and shoot, bomb, strafe, with unlimmited fuel and ammo, and no one could shoot back at you

I watched a YouTube vid on how that gun operates the way it does and somehow doesn’t catch on fire. Pretty amazing stuff

Always saw A-10’s flying around Toledo Bend growing up (went to Toledo Bend every Spring Break). Just once wanted to hear Brrrrrrrrrrrrrttt on the open lake.

Agreed. One of the coolest planes ever.

Fantastic work. Your patience in applying the dozens of tiny decals common to all post-war aircraft is admirable. That’s one reason I don’t do modern aircraft much, too damn many tiny decals all over the place!
How was the build? I’ve considered getting an A-10 to do (eventually) but was thinking I’d go with the Tamiya kit. I’ve never built one from Great Wall Hobby. Hoe does it compare to the other manufacturers?

We could hear the bbbbrrrrruuuuppppp as they flew their runs over Camp Claiborne etc., and wasn't sure what was making that noise. Later learn about the 3 second blast of the 30mm gatling gun sticking out the front.
