It's amazing you never get tired of blowing the blue, and how incredibly wrong you're willing to be in the process.

It’s worth noting that this is the same jail where inmates used peanut butter to escape a few years ago.

No, Double Springs is in a neighboring county - Winston. Same class of people.
I grew up in Walker County, and we looked down our noses at Double Springs. But I can't argue with you, both areas suck.

Agree, with the qualification that Walker County is the worst of the bunch.

It's as if the entire county was populated by the offspring of Darlene and Jacob Snell

What’s the old myth of Smith Lake being Alabama’s largest cemetery from all the bodies dumped in it over the years?

Most myths and legends are rooted in some kernel of truth

There's a history there that goes back a long, long, time. Tons of unsolved murders. Hell, when I was a kid, a nurse got off work, pulled out into the street and her truck blew up. Fast forward a few decades, a dude got blew up on his riding lawnmower in an affluent neighborhood. Walker County is where you go to find someone fairly competent, to kill someone else. As corrupt a place you will ever find.

Walker County

Only thing I know about Walker County is they were ravaged by methamphetamine in the 2000-2010 years.

Not sure if it ever got better or worse afterwards but every person I've ever met from Walker County had been involved in some way or another either possessing or making meth.

Just reporting what I saw man. I don't associate with any of the Deputies so I couldn't say anything specific. Just the news article:
