I'm sure it helped, this is LA after all. With all the publicity this case received, they couldn't just sweep it all under the rug but I'm it had to have at least given her the benefit of the doubt (if it could be justified legally).

Yea except for when you read the Advocate article and they qoute the teen as saying he always had control in the relationship and that he thought it would help him out in her class. Here is his direct quote from the Advocate....he said, “I kinda felt like I had the upper hand on her, being in her class. I felt like I could use it to my advantage.”
To me that make her seem a lot less rapey and him seem a little more culpable.

I'm assuming she implied he was exaggerating their encounters as he didn't seem to be consistent on locations occurred?

well there was an intense discussion yesterday about whether he was considered the King of St Charles Parish and he ultimately denied that in lieu of the title "the LEGEND of St Charles Parish"
