1 - The dangers of secondhand smoke are unproven and even if they exist are minor compared to the dangers of breathing in bus fumes, etc.
2- No one is forced to work in a smoking environment.
3-The people pushing smoking bans are the same busybodies trying to get the DUI level lowered to .00001.

What's silly is that the markets were already addressing the issue
You can have smoke free bars without the law forcing you to
*although it might be a good idea to have a smoking patio if you're going to go this route

Cigarettes are an interesting product, in that if used correctly, they are supposed to kill you.
