I have a Down syndrome uncle and special needs cousin. So i understand their life at this point. Sometimes I feel bad for them. But most of the time, I’m jealous of them. They live a very simple life and I’ve never met anyone happier than them. Meanwhile, we deal with significant others, children, bills, mortgages, endless expenses, work stress, etc. The live life somewhat ignorant and die happy. Seems legit to me.
