How does one do this exactly?
get creative. think about the people affected, focus on them, muster positive feelings and send them out.

There was one post last night that worried me in that regard.
What bothered me the most was that some people joked about it and didn't take it seriously. I posted in the LNST and GMT to see if someone who had his number could call him. Again, some did not think he was serious.
I never OT at work but was so concerned that today I was checking every 15 min waiting for him to get online. I felt helpless because there was nothing I could do. When he did, I was so relieved. Turns out he was NOT joking around at all and thank he God sought medical help.
Again, all suicide threats should be taken very seriously.

How old were you when your father shot himself?
Posted on 6/28/17 at 9:36 pm to LCA131
I turned 18 the week after it happened then started at LSU on my birthday.
I saw him the day before and he was happier than he'd been in a long time. The next day, I got the call and arrived as he was being airlifted in a helicopter for OLOL. He was kept alive for one more day for organ donation.

Life is about recognizing and dealing with suffering. Some can't complete the journey and we will never understand why . Let go of him and constructively focus on your journey.Prayers of compassion and acceptance To you.

The time for the greatest risk of suicide is right after they get put on meds.

depression are too often masked and hidden.
For me, it was easy to hide. Depression is a s.o.b. to deal with and no one knew. People will only let you know what they want you to know. So don't hold it against yourself. We all have are dark secretes. Only one person knows mine - and I married her.

Maybe not the right place for this and people can ridicule but I will admit I have had some messed up thoughts about stuff I've seen in war and if not for my family I don't know where I may be now.
it is realizing how much you are loved and needed and appreciated that is critical in understanding each and every person's self-worth

Guy had a bunch of kids too. Very sad.

Had a young man who was my gunner in the Gun Truck. Never saw major combat, very minimal. He always thought suicide was for the weak. Kid ended up killing himself after over a year at home.
