611 PM CDT Fri Mar 31 2023

The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Crockett County in west Tennessee...
Southwestern Gibson County in west Tennessee...
Central Haywood County in west Tennessee...
Northwestern Madison County in west Tennessee...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 610 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado
was located 8 miles southwest of Nutbush, or 9 miles east of
Covington, moving east at 55 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

It doesnt have a tor down (but is throwing some stones) but its wide open and on a bad trajectory for DeSoto Co, MS and southern parts of Memphis.

Dont like it.

The entire hooked part is a TDS on radar.

This is pretty much a nightmare scenario

Meaning the entire system, all the discreet cells, not just the long track monster. Though it's a nightmare by itself

The west TN storm doesn’t look as strong right now. Could just be cycling, though.
