I had planned to drive from Holly Springs, MS to Jonesboro, AR starting about 3:30 today. So this is quite the conundrum I have

That's prolly not the best plan baw

But live on the wild side if that's your tastes for today

No bluff out there to protect you either (crawley's ridge maybe?)

honestly you are probably going to kill that tree with all the excavation there anyway. I’d take it down

Yes we have it scheduled to be taken down but the tree guys in this area are booked up in rolling fork and silver city so it’ll be awhile. fricking 8k down the drain to remove a tree

Damn delta, that's pretty bad timing tbh

Yea but I had no choice it got so clogged we couldn’t clear it because there was no clean out opening to use and the snake wouldn’t reach it from the bathroom after I removed the toilet. Nothing would drain, couldn’t wash clothes and shite was backing up into the showers when you flushed I’ve had to go down the road to dollar general to shite for the past day and piss outside.

Apparently tornado on ground in hot springs, saw from cameras on news. Going to grab my kids from school early in west Little Rock bc pick up is during the time it’s supposed to be bad.

Sirens just going off in west Little Rock

So here’s my thoughts on why I might still do it. I watch the YouTube streamer storm chasers, so I figure if I have them on the whole time I’m driving I’ll know where the bad areas are in real time, and can change directions in a moments notice if needed. And you know how autistic I am about geography, so I have an extremely good sense of where every little town is in this whole region and can react very quickly to any information I hear.

I have not decided completely what to do though. I have to go there at some point today regardless, and it’s gonna suck to put it off for several hours.

The hot springs tornado is taking the path an EF3 took when I was a kid when we lived in Cabot, Ar. First tornado I ever saw it destroyed Ward, Austin and Beebe I remember watching it pass West of Cabot right behind the wal mart off the interstate

The Weather Channel keeps acting like there is a TDS on the storm that is approaching Little Rock, but the NWS has yet to call it a confirmed tornado. I think TWC is just seeing noise on the CC at this point.

If you gotta be somewhere you gotta be somewhere…. What are the chances a tornado throws your car 1,000 yards?

TWC cares little about weather these days they’re all about ratings

Ignore them

Just got my kids and they were locked down in the safe room. Got my three and getting into the closet under our staircase. Sirens going off non stop in Little Rock. My kids are freaking out. My oldest, now 9, and I were caught in the tornado that hit praireiville February 23 2016, he still remembers it and was scared of storms for a very long time.
