Got stuck behind something similar last week. Trashy couple was making a grocery store sized purchase at a convenience store with a Louisiana Purchase Card of course.

Had a guy in front of me a while back who was at the cash register legitimately for close to 10 minutes conversing with the cashier about what cigs he should buy and if he can get the 2 for one deal, etc.
Like he'd ask for two packs of X, then change his mind and ask for two packs of Y, which was a two for one deal. But then he would ask the cashier for advice (????) and then ask for a pack of Y and a pack of Z, but then he started haggling with the cashier because he couldn't go 2 for 1 on that. Then he would ask for a complete list of all brands that he could get a two for one deal on. This went on for about 5 or 6 minutes before the guy who was next in line told him to hurry the frick up. Then those two went at it for a few mins with the cig buyer yelling at the guy with shite like "Just cause you're richer than me doesn't give you the right to tell me to hurry up! I'll take my sweet as time and you can go frick yourself you rich a-hole".
It was quite a trashy scene.

Whenever I see a large (like you said, "grocery sized") purchase at Walgreens or CVS, it's always with a freaking Louisiana Purchase card. When it's not their money they DGAF if it costs way more than just going to a regular store.
It's easy to tell because they'll purchase their liquor and cigs with cash separately

Haha, so people should tailor their choice in currency to avoid your disdain and ridicule? frick off! Money is money. Its called a convenience store for a reason. Maybe paying with nickles and dimes was convenient for them.

I haven't stepped in to a convenience store except to take a piss since they invented pay at the pump. The greatly reduced exposure to trashiness has been wonderful.
