40 yr old family man with no pre-existing conditions died in the last few days.

So, great to hear you’ve recovered.

Some here knew him.....Patrick

Isolation is the worst of the symptoms and it’s self-imposed. I’m grateful things weren’t worse.

Tomorrow will be the end of isolation from my wife and kids. They have some special considerations so I couldn’t just say frick it

Sorry for your loss, and for Patrick’s family.

Is Patrick from near LSU?

Didn’t they tell us it’s supposed to spread through AC systems? Makes you wonder how someone can isolate in their home with other people.

Ten days in "isolation" sounds like a short version of heaven to me. I'd try and drag it out to at least 14.

I am sorry a family lost their loved one but people die every day for many different reasons
We can’t live in fear because it’s eventually going to happen, none of us are getting out of this alive

If that's the case, there's all kinds of stuff we can stop doing.

Don't wear a seat belt, cause frick it, we're all gonna die anyway.

Don't teach your kids gun safety so they won't blow their heads off, cause frick it, we're all gonna die anyway.

Don't worry about eating healthy and exercising, cause frick it, we're all gonna die anyway.

We’re all going to get it and a lot of us already have, but just didn’t realize it. Pretending masks and an arbitrary unmeetable distance guideline only serves to make Karens and sheep feel better. We are all eventually going to get it. Best approach is to allow your body to prepare for it via our natural immune systems. Covid is a political tool being sensationalized by the media bc the DNC is running an empty suit.

You are right, I’m sorry

It’s ok if I lose my business that is currently struggling
It’s ok that I won’t have a way to pay my mortgage or my car note
It’s ok that I won’t have a way to pay my health insurance

I’ll stay in my house (while I have it) even though I am young & healthy go protect others
I’ll make sure to stay away from my parents no matter what it does to our mental health
