Frick You COVID-19

Isolation is the worst of the symptoms and it’s self-imposed. I’m grateful things weren’t worse.
Tomorrow will be the end of isolation from my wife and kids. They have some special considerations so I couldn’t just say frick it and not isolate.
I know military, plant baws etc have all spent difficult time away from their families, but I haven’t ever had to, and have made life choices not to be in that spot. To have your kids running up to your door and begging just for a hug is brutal to say you can’t.
TLDR- frick Covid and isolation
ETA - many had it worse than me. I’m grateful to be alive.

I was quarantined when my wife had it. The worst part was when she got better after 4 days. I was locked in the house with her for 10 more days. She hates me but I was trapped. I see why domestic abuse rose up so sharply.
