Damn. That place is tiny. They must have had to close the rest of the restaurant down while he was there for security purposes.

And maybe that means he got served in less than 1.5 hours. They take their slow French service serious at that place. Of course having the smallest kitchen in Nola doesn't help.

I'll catch up with him when he goes to Mae's later.

Kindof one of those Mountain to Mohammed type deals.

My question is WTF is Mitch "the Bitch" Landrieu doing walking with Macron and Cantrell through the Quarter? What a publicity whore. Or is he there for his role as Biden's federal infrastructure czar? I don't like Cantrell, but it would seem that the former mayor is stepping on her toes. I didn't see Trump or Obama at the Biden state dinner last night.

Does anyone else find this as funny as I do? How can the mayor of probably the most structurally unsound municipality and who appointed so many shite vendors to construction contracts gets identified as a good candidate for "infrastructure czar".

Why the frick do we continue to use the Russian term Czar for everything. I find that particularly fkd up.

There is a moment in WWL's 2-hour video of Macron's tour of the Quarter when the visiting presidential delegation and the local authorities have to walk around a large pothole in the street demarcated by a traffic cone. Pathetic and predictable. You can hear people commenting on it in the video.
