You've been spitting fire here lately, friend.

Banning an article of clothing is fricked up.

I'm no expert, but what's the difference between a "burkini" and say, a hoodie?

Don't worry, you can still wear your tux t-shirt, for now.

Depends...Perhaps it is preemptive. If they start allowing it to be worn, muslims who may have influence in the govt could start pushing for it to be mandatory, so as to not 'offend' other muslims who think women shouldn't show much skin. The way things are going these days, one complaint that someone is offended by a scantily clad female and they get to point at the person wearing the beekeeper suit as how everyone should dress.

Right, but I'm trying to figure out why it matters that she wears her burka to the beach. Or why they made her strip down right there. Again, that's messed up.
80 years of leaving them to their own has gotten us here.

Eh it goes much longer than that, but if you want to get all historical, this big problem with Islam really started after WWI and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. It wasn't until the Europeans divided up the Middle East that things started getting really hairy.

Hmmm, I have mixed feelings about this. But this is what happens when muslims don't assimilate into the culture of western nations and instead trying to subjugate it. Westerners are going to do some drastic shite.

so what's going to constitute a burkini in the future? ...
Posted on 8/24/16 at 7:21 pm to NYNolaguy1
To a degree it's messed up, but at the same time if I was there with my family and there was a family in Burkas on a smoking hot day it'd certainly make me feel uncomfortable too. There's no way that can be enjoyable to wear to the beach, no way.

And they still have not assimilated properly into western society and the french sees this and took action against that. I don't blame the french for these kinds of bans even if I have a problem with the freedom angle of it but then again the scourge of islam doesn't like freedom.

That's what happens when you practice a religion that preaches death to the infidels. People become aware of you.
