I seem to recollect top tier universities offering free on-line seminars of their classes available to the public. There were a myriad of interesting topics, but all were from prestigious institutions, including (if I remember correctly) Harvard, Yale, etc.

Have any of the OT Bros viewed these courses? Were these released through iTunes or some other medium?

Looking to expand my knowledge of Higgs Boson and other particles.

I've taken some business courses through Coursera. It won't get you a seat in the CEO chair, but they offer a lot of free classes with good information.

They also do MIT course I believe. And Yale has an online course selection. I viewed an entire economics class a few years ago, complete with notes, assignments and tests.

I passed.

Good for you.

Just know that "I watched a free online course" won't exactly nail you the interview for that particle physicist position.

You may find that in an updated Modern physics course, but generally that's not an undergrad physics topic. At least it wasn't at LSU a decade or so ago.

Great link. The Open Yale classes are great (obviously).

I started the Moral Foundations of Politics; it's pretty good.
