So it moved east as well and came in stronger than its previous run. The only thing that I find comforting right now is that the center still hasn’t formed so once it does, there might still be a significant change.

Yeah, my sarcastic jokes are definitely worse than you wishing destruction on other people’s lives, and then telling them frick you when they say you’re an a-hole

Yea during their 7pm briefing. I did not watch the 10:30 one because nothing really changed with the 10 update.

I don't know if tbey did it last time, but he's taking questions with this one.

Is there a hard limit on how far east this can shift?

The steering currents are going to be pretty strong which is why there's no worry about it stalling. It's blocked from going to far east by a ridge it's riding around the top of. While being funneled between a shortwave trough that will develop over Texas. The ridge will block it from going too far east and becoming something like a Mississippi landfall.

I havent been keeping up. Does anyone know why Levi @ Tropical Tidbits is not posting updates? I think a few years ago he took up a job in the midwest so his tropical focus took a big hit. But I hope he isnt done for good.

So for the Baton Rouge area, at best this goes into Texas or Lake Charles and gives us some rain. Second best this goes into New Orleans with us on the west side getting some gusts to 60ish mph and a lot of rain. Worst case is a direct hit by what would be a strong cat 1 this far inland.

Do I have that understanding correct?

He's in Hawaii, so timezones mess him up. He will probably have a video out in the morning, and he has been tweeting.

He’s actually in Hawaii now so the time change has him off. He also said he has more on his plate

Sure.. I mean it's too early to pinpoint wind impacts but if you're in Baton Rouge I'd gas up and go to the store and stock up on pizzas and chinese food tomorrow as Frankie MacDonald says. Tomorrow you might beat some crowds. Tuesday will be a shite show in south LA.

In the picture but a lower chance than somewhere between Lake Charles and Morgan City.

It’s still almost 4 days away and people can’t answer that yet. Is it possible for you to understand that or are you really that oblivious?

Another good one to follow is Mark Sudduth at Hurricane Track on YouTube. He does at least one video a day, and he does a good job breaking things down.
