I think we have another hour of so of dodging to do, but so far so good.

Yeah maybe I jumped the gun early. These are the highest winds we've had, but not too much rain anymore.

Not gonna lie. I have been wrong several times this evening with family in estimating when the winds will be over. It's once again the worst it's ever been right now here in Gonzales at 9:30pm.

Just watched the dude they pulled out of the truck! Holy shite that was almost a play by play of a live death. God bless that baw who saved him.

Just nonchalantly saved someone’s life then went on about his evening.

That’s West Napoleon. West Metairie was holding a little better.

Just wanted to take a brief second and thank the hurricane crew here. You guys make this about as bearable as possible. You take most of the uncertainty out of these situations. You guys dedicate hours upon hours to guiding the people here to help us make better choices for ourselves and our families

Thank you

I hope everyone makes it out of this unscathed. And yes, I’ve (finally) been hitting the bottle. Love y’all

In Franklinton waiting for that stuff that just went through Metairie.

It’s set in in Mande now. God willing it doesn’t seem any worse than the prior but more sustained.

Random thought while I made ANOTHER Old Fashioned...how has YouTubeTV been for users during the storm on the Northshore. DTV has been steady all day and with the current dispute with ABC I was curious if there were any YouTube TV issues.

As you'd expect from the high ABV, it is a little hot, but it has lots going on. Very good IMO.

The rain has stopped here in 70808, but the wind is gusting strong.
