The article said 3 years but that Vegas PD has the case as "open"? How can it be an "open" case if the statute of limitations is over by 13 years? This stuff pisses me off to no end.
I don't understand how something like this even makes the news. Foxx should be able to sue TMZ for slander or something considering there's literally no legal ramifications here and they have absolutely no proof outside of a he said she said.

Why? They're just reporting an alleged crime because that is what it is.....an alleged crime.

They could be investigating the facts to see what the potential charge could be i.e. sexual assault, rape, etc. The SOL is much longer for rape than sexual assault. In Nevada it's 20 years. Nonetheless this all sounds like a bunch of bs to drag Foxx through the mud
