Of course it doesn't guarantee it. As best I know no drug maker "guarentees" any medicine. Still doenst mean you shouldnt take it because it "only" works 90 percent of the time.
Is this a cost issue? I don't get why people dont get the shot. Is this some Jehovas Witness anti-vacc thing going on?

I usually get the flu shot, but this is a terribly written article. Very little detail, no medical explanation and just cuts off.

It ain’t 90% baw-not even close. Some years it’s as low as 5% effective and in a good year you’ll get 30%.

and it has been proven that it is cumulative, meaning people that get it every year have even greater chance of not getting the flu

Since when is blindness a symptom or result of the flu?
Was it fever induced? If so, that cant be blamed on the flu. You can get a fever from a common cold, or a stomach bug.
Seizures? I must admit: never knew these were symptoms of the flu.

It's still a stomach bug.
But still, a fever can escalate to dangerous levels no matter the cause.
Especially in very young, elder. and those with immune deficiencies.
