That’s fine to want that and all, and I agree with you, but Carrollton, Tucks, and Thoth all had statements from NOPD or local politicians immediately (and often incorrect) which allowed rumors to fly and hurt the reputations of those 3 Krewes.
Zulu gets the benefit of a full day’s grace from everyone and they had a legit injury from something tossed off the float.

Zulu put out their comment this morning. It's the generic PR that all the krewes put out when this happens.
As for how quick the news picks it up I guess you can be mad at that if you want some reason to get mad. It was all over social media last night and the NOPD had the police report yesterday afternoon. Granted it was mardi gras.

Carrollton and Thoth only became news because police severely overreacted to incidents that would not be newsworthy.
Tucks became news because people are idiots and racebaiting gets clicks.
Zulu was more than likely an accident and shouldn’t be news, but only is due to bottle hitting a kid.
