I was in the Quarter last night and had a great time. I just avoid Bourbon and wandering off past a certain hour. There's still too much shite happening there, but if you use common sense you will be fine 99% of the time.

Well, that is no longer an option due to federal oversight. It would absolutely result in charges against the officer now, so unfortunately it has ceased.

I live in NOLA, and have my whole life. Unlike those who have left uptown for greener pastures, I'm staying. that being said, ARMED ROBBERY on BOURBON and ST. PETER is a PROBLEM. that is pretty much ground zero for tourism and such.......

Of course, when I go to the quarter (which is rare), I never go down that way anymore.

When I saw the thread title I thought 4 people got robbed twice in one night and I was like damn.. that sucks.
