A twin-engine plane crashed into a house late Tuesday in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, killing four people -- including one person inside the home -- officials said.
A Mitsubishi MU-2B-60 carrying three people hit the home at 11:22 p.m. CT, Federal Aviation Administration representative Maria Njoku said Wednesday.
Police said the crash killed four people. That included a person who was inside the house when the crash happened, Hattiesburg police spokesperson Ryan Moore said.
Authorities didn't immediately say whether all three people aboard the plane perished.
The plane had departed Wichita Falls, Texas, some 560 miles northwest of Hattiesburg, the FAA said.
Details about what led to the crash weren't immediately available.

Gerry was probably asleep in his bed, then a plane crashed into his house.

Imagine having a sigh of relief after those storms passed yesterday. You're okay, no damage, the line cleared the area, and no more storms are behind it. You have a beer or two and go to bed.
Then, BAM! A fricking plane crashes into your house.

What's going on here? Did Louis sire a child with Anna?

Sounds more like she was his daughter in law and kept her maiden name.

Difficult plane to fly.
The FAA requires pilots to take training specific to this model in order to be able to fly it. Which is unusual for aircraft that are under 12,500 lbs.

Think that’s a rec not a reg. Know your aircraft, and know your own limitations.

You just completely made that up, didn’t you? She was a biology student originally from Tuscaloosa. He was a doctor.

FAA mandated MU-2 training for part 91 a few years ago after several fatalities.

I know a lot of Provenzas. I wonder if they're related to this guy. He does have Louisiana ties.
A 2 year old dying is just so fricking terrible. Geez.
