What’s funny is the woodlands isn’t wealthy in the slightest
It’s a mediocre suburb that this board is enamored with for some reason

it's nice enough, nothing extraordinary about it, but the people that live there throw it out as if they're living in the Hamptons

Saginaw/Fossil Creek was my neck of the woods for several years. Plenty of good, affordable neighborhoods between the 820 loop and Keller that are still in Fort Worth, but you won’t really be close to the action if that matters to you. My favorite way to drink when I lived there was to go to Top Golf then right down the road to Martin House Brewery.

All things being equal, I think the mid cities blow it out of the water (not hurst, haltom city, etc) but those people don’t act like they’re in Beverly Hills . It’s a strange phenomenon

FW is the best part of the metroplex to be. Hands down. Arguably the best big Texas city. Not including smaller towns obviously. Love me some FW. Sundance square and The stockyards are awesome. Go get a big ribeye from cattleman’s.

And while we are on the subject of Lake Worth and Eagle Mountain Lake, you will want to check out Boo Rays on Boat Club Road when you get homesick for Louisiana food
ETA- also Two Sisters restaurant in Hurst. It’s owned by Nola people. I would treat myself to the fried shrimp poboy and crabcakes every couple weeks when I worked in the mid cities
