She was a Judge, thus her sentence should be longer than one for a normal citizen. She is supposed to be the example.
Hopefully, the courtroom crowd was just a small minority in her community. There are few things more self-destructive than the black community's occasional willingness to place convicted criminals on a pedestal.

Nobody should be above the law. When officials abuse their position, there should be real consequences. Might deter the next guy/gal.

She swore an oath. John Q. Public didn't. Therefore, her sentence should be doubled. I doubt that she got near the max for her conviction.

Please quit judging her actions.

What's community control?

Well that was the wrong thing to do. It was very, very stupid. But if that's all she did, and not something like taking bribes, does she really deserve jail time?
She's lost her prestigious job, her license to practice law, and now has to find some other way to make a living after being disgraced and is branded for life as a felon. I don't see what purpose sending her to prison serves.
I kind of agree

So people who have a good job to lose should be exempt from punishment because they lost their good job?

Judge was racist while exhibiting his white privilege

Because that's the law, dummy.
