When the current mayor's father (who was the former mayor) died, he became mayor and then was defeated by the current mayor (who is the son of the former mayor.)
Anyways, I wonder if this guy is on board with the whole Republic of Afrika thing.

Nah...Yarber was a pretty good mayor, as far as I can remember. Unfortunately, he was not radical enough for the good citizens of Jackson.
