I prefer it to work this way rather than the private guys going into govt roles to clearly benefit their previous employer and that industry.

The war on drugs is a complete fckn joke. Legalize it all and watch the crime drop drastically. But we all know too many jobs and too much money relies on drugs being illegal.

Aren't those pretty much the same arguments that were used against alcohol? When alcoholics have trouble keeping a job they get fired, why wouldn't the same be true for someone addicted to drugs?

And when you have have lesser drugs available legally then most people wouldn't bother to level up to the harder stuff and even if they did they most likely would have done it anyway. It's not like the current laws are stopping anyone who really wants to get fricked up on illegal drugs. It's much better to legalize it, regulate it, tax it and deal with the social issues socially and criminal issues criminally. It's how we handle drunks who break the law, why not addicts as well?

If she is helping the company develop measures to keep their drugs out of the hands of people that don't need them, and to help them understand how those that are properly prescribed the drugs end up as addicts, and that keeps then from getting sued then I don't see an issue.
