I'd kill for a competitive flip league. Down the line, pregame is some of the most fun you can have.

There’s just something special about baseball in the summer. Being in the dugout with your boys and then heading to the pool after, the smells, the sounds, all of it.

I’ve been fortunate enough to play sports basically everyday since I was 4. But summer baseball is the one that I always reminisce on.

Make fun of the big dudes but I remember the feeling of having a team on their heels late in the game and seeing the Dline get winded and start pouting. You just knew coach was fixing to call a string of run plays to chew clock. Mowing down D linemen is an amazing feeling.

I get the Oline hate though. Being a man is not for everyone.

Biddy basketball - used to love breaking the other team's full court press with no dribbles, ending in a layup for us at the other end. After a couple of those, the press would be called off.

That feeling when the pitcher hangs a curve and you don't even feel it when you catch the sweetest of the sweet spot on the bat.

Destroying a receiver a split second after the ball gets there and the "ooohhhhh" the crowd makes on big hits.

The smells/sounds of the ballpark/stadium.

Yes sir

And when you know it’s going yard right off the bat. Great feeling.

Definitely the excitement of game day and the adrenaline of running out there and playing in front of a big crowd. Also the locker room talk and stuff like that. Don’t miss any practice activities or conditioning for sure.

Screw that. I probably got like 10 concussions as a sophomore in high school

Twice. Late 90’s. In terms of heat and humidity that’s the most miserable I’ve ever been in my life.

40s now but try to play as many sports once/month as I can.

Basketball - getting a big rebound and quick assist. Slapping glass on layup, although can only do that now with backboard that is lower like UREC.

Volleyball - block on a good spiker

Golf - sinking a big putt in scramble

Disc golf - sinking an unexpected longer approach

Tennis - Ace on a serve against someone that is difficult to Ace

The Home Run...

I still have flashes of little league home runs.
So much so, I played league softball in and out of the military, but then they limited dingers so...I stopped.

This thr is kinda the sads

As a lowly walk-on DE under Curly Hallman, I made the switch to rugby at LSU in Fall of 1994 and never looked back.
I can't explain rugby to most of you but here's an awfully shitty quality clip of me in 1997 playing rugby for LSU in 97.
College Rugby was far more fun than football b/c they were so much smaller and slower than me. Granted that would not be the case at the next level as I got my arse handed to me very quickly.

I'm the big bald blob in the video.

First few seconds I'm scoring a try(touchdown). That's a normal good feeling.

The second highlight, I run down a Tulane fig, take the ball, pass it to teammate, then follow in support. That feeling is unlike any other sport/feeling.

Mikel playing rugby in a 24 yr old shitty quality video

High jacking the thread….mikelbr……your brother was fun to watch shooting hoops in HS….sweet lefty stroke from the outside. I’m a year younger, but going to their home games in ‘87 were some of funnest games I went to in HS. Knox at Center, then Moulard and your brother at forwards and Toups and Brown in the backcourt with Coach Almond early on in his career at Woodlawn….good times!

That's funny. I was at almost everyone of those games as my parents were very dedicated and I was 12 yrs old.
I often had my booksack with me doing homework on weeknight games. I can still remember many of those gyms. Brusly, Port Allen, Broadmoor, Redemptorist, Donaldsonville and many more from his first 3 years at Lee High before transferring to Woodlawn.
Remember Kenny Brown's(RIP) half court buzzer beater? That was nuts. And it's not hijacking if we're talking about a buzzer beater to win a basketball game.
