That’s not what I meant. Why are you being racist

I'm sorry, maybe I'm being too quick to judgment in your particular case...but it seems a lot like the typical pointless threadjack by racial obsessives that goes a little something like this:
"Hurr, hurr...I didn't even have to see a picture of him to know what the suspect looked like...hurr, hurr..."
I think the topic of forensic junk science is interesting enough without shoehorning racial angles into the discussion. If that wasn't what you were doing, my apologies.

I grew up there- the investigators did a God awful job with the scene.
That said, most feel that he did it. They were into some kinky stuff.

Almost all of this teeth mark evidence is long gone. Stunning this case wasn't overturned earlier. Read the Cadaver King and Country Dentist (Balko-Carrington) for how bad that shite is.

Let's talk about polygraphs and "body language" experts.

How much of that “kinky” stuff was confirmed, and what all did it entail? A little role play, or some dark snuff film stuff?
Anytime I see stories of a suspect getting singled out for some sex crime based on small town rumors of their private lives, I suspect it’s nothing more than very private people getting bullied by the nosey mob.

Bondage was routine for them- but they had pictures of them and a 3rd party- male- that were kept in a safe deposit box, with the other party having access to them as well. Also VHS videotapes that were seen by council. Relatively wild for lower Alabama in 1985.

It's unbelievable to me that her nail clippings and dress are just...gone now. Would have been good to check DNA against the other guy that worked nearby that was convicted of a home invasion/rape several weeks after this happened.

If you want to have a real laugh, you should read up on CVSA.
That's the holy grail of fake "lie detecting" methods.

There’s a lot of forensic science that is just state-sanctioned pseudoscience designed to give juries some comfort in the certainty of the state’s case.
The court system in the state of Alabama is beyond horrible. It’s not there to provide justice, only to enable the corrupt power structure to remain in place.
In criminal trials, Judges allow all types of prosecutorial misconduct and tainted evidence. They don’t look at evidence or the law in non-jury cases, they simply rubber stamp the proposed order of the side they want to win.
They do what they are told in order to protect their own personal advancement and that of their family.

How about occult “experts” testifying during Satanic Panic period of the 80s/90s?
Are you claiming there weren’t multiple murders linked to the occult?

Tried to get a new trial for a guy doing life here in SC based on after-discovered evidence. He was convicted of burglary. He was tried less than 6 months after his arrest (for burglary and aggravated assault) and the only evidence was an eyewitness identification from a man the state admitted was mentally handicapped. There was no forensic evidence, no getaway vehicle in my client's possession and no items stolen from the home found in his possession. My client said at the trial the identification witness's face and clothes were covered in chili from a hotdog he ate during a break. That's all it took for a jury to convict him.
Anyways, years later my client wrote a PI, who started doing some research on the case. He showed the victim's family the police sketch years later (the state never gave victim a copy) and a cousin knew the guy he was looking at. It wasn't my client. Turns out the guy the cousin identified was doing time for robbery. I took the case pro bono as a young lawyer. We presented all this evidence to the judge and he dismissed our case without blinking. Perfect example of the banality of evil.
The moral of the story is: we do not have a justice system in this country and nobody should have any faith whatsoever in the judicial branch of government.

Surely you don't mean the threads here talking about how those found guilty should be shot immediately, right? The ones we have practically weekly?

The dreaded “bite mark bullshite” if I tried this is a products case or something, I would probably be sanctioned, but the State can just make shite up. (Lol)
