Reading the thread below, these Ford dealerships do not help the public's perception of the average at best product they are selling.

Should have bought a Tundra

Does anyone have a Ford dealer in South LA/TX that offers quality sales and service?

Lamarque had great prices and a non-pushy salesman for my last purchase, and their service dept has been great for me.

Brought my wife's Ford Escape in for a recent recalled part. Ford dealership gave a Saturday date to bring it in. Showed up at 8am and they told the line of 10 people/cars that were waiting that they forgot to order the new part.

Same for me. That was a while back for me. Long enough, that when my engine blew, it wasn't under warranty.

I just bought a 2018 F150 from Courtesy in Breaux Bridge. I was dealing with Lamarque on a truck they had on their lot. For 2 weeks they wouldn't budge on price and kept telling me about how they had the best price out there, how they were losing money on the deal and how I wouldn't be able to get a better deal. I ended up getting a truck with a 502 package and moonroof (both things that Lamarque truck did not have) and paid $100 less than what Lamarque was offering at the time. Last day of February guy from Lamarque calls and said if I went that day he received special permission to drop the price $1000. I told him had he done that weeks ago I would have bought but I was glad he didn't because I had gotten a way better deal. He quickly told me to have a nice day and hung up.

Bottom line is.....every dealership is the same. They all have the same song and dance routine when it comes to selling. This time Courtesy worked a deal (ended up $2500 less than their first offer)but next time it may be Lamarque that I buy from. The larger they are, the more vehicles they move, the more incentives they can offer. But they all the same as far as the bs that comes with buying a new vehicle.

I agree with this when not looking at a specific salesperson. I'll go back to my guy at Lamarque for the next Ford, but I'll still be looking at what the best option will be for me. This guy just earned the right to be my first call from now on

My ex-g/f had a story like that. She purchased a Ford Focus that had a shitty shifter. Ford promised to fix it. They tried several computer fixes, but that didn't solve the problem. Then they told her they would swap the part and fix her problem. First appointment, they didn't have the part. Second appointment, they had the part but didn't have the right gasket. Third appointment, they said they never told her they would swap the part. Fourth appointment, they had the parts and gaskets, but the guy that did those repairs was out sick. Etc. Etc. Went on for 3 years. She went to a lawyer and suddenly that had everything she needed and set up an appointment for 6 weeks later. I have no idea how the story ended, but I am betting Ford screwed her again.

Make the short drive up to the dealership I'm at in Crystal Springs, MS. We've worked lots of Louisiana deals and are well versed. You won't be disappointed.

The guy referred to in that thread was a pussy and a pushover. All dealerships are shady as shite, it doesn’t matter what brand it is.

Not a Ford, but when I bought my Jeep I built it online and sent out the build sheet to 40+ dealers across a few states. I was willing to fly to pick it up if flight+gas was worth it (or they shipped). Made my intentions very clear that I wanted the best price up front. Dropped the dealers bs’ing me immediately and put 3 dealers against each other. Would do it again the same way.

I can tell you from my experience not to go to Friendly Ford in Crosby. I found an F250 that I wanted on the internet. I called them the next day and they told me that the truck was still available, I told them I'll be there the very next day. So I get off of work fairly early and I call to make sure the truck is still available and it is. I hop in the truck that I'm going to trade in and drive for 45 minutes and I call again to make sure every thing is still good and I'm reassured that everything is ready to go. I drive my happy arse 3 hours just to find out the MF'n truck is not there, not can the MF'n salesmen (2) be found that I had spoken previously. I was not happy and I told them every chance I got I would run on their dealership.

Sorry for TLDR
