I’d imagine it’ll be done this year even without her participation.
I’m not catholic, but my guy is. He didn’t participate in his annulment, and it was all done within a year of their real divorce. I don’t know when his ex filed with the church, but it seems like he got random letters about the status for 6 months or so before it was finalized. Maybe up to 12 months. The timeline is hazy since it wasn’t something we cared about.

Good ole indulgences.

Jesus was and remains a Jew. That's how he was born, that's how he lived, that's how he died, that's how God the Father mourned him.

For all you heathens downvoting me, Jesus was Baptized by John the Baptist in the River Jordan and that day Jesus accepted the Baptist Faith
Actually he was born as a member of the Nazarene Church.

What's the rush? You gotta another one waiting in the wings?

They have determined the grounds for annulment and are about to send the formal letters to me and my ex. She’s choosing not to participate. Hope this shite goes by by the end of 2018.
"They" have determined the reason for the annulment? Who are "they"?
Aren't you supposed to roll in there and swear the marriage was never consummated or that one (or both) of you suffered from a mental defect at the time of the marriage, so it was never actually valid?
Do you have children? If so, will you be calling them your bastards from now on? I think annulments are a load of shite, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do if your mistress demands a church wedding.
To answer your question, it seems that the larger the donation, the faster the wheels of Catholicism grind away.

Exactly $0 and that’s what it will stay. When it’s done I might make a donation.

You obviously don’t understand annulments and haven’t read up on them. If you say that you have, you are lying. Your views on the status of children after an annulment are enough to prove that....or you’re just an unsubtle troll.

Like any other normal person, I think having it done quicker sounds preferable...

I think just under a year for my dad.

Just tell the monsenior you will spill the beans from your days as an alter boy when he was a lower priest. That should do it.

Man Catholicism is super weird to me. So much legalism.

John the Baptist
Baptist was his profession, not his religion. No mention of a Baptist religion until the 1600’s.

My wife went through one where her ex did not participate. It took from August 2003 - February 2005.

LOL come up with that all on your own? Got any more zingers?

Microwave society. Because something happens faster doesn't make it "normal". Society wants the quick fix for everything from foods to sleep to fitness to health to relationships to construction to news to the entire fabric of society.
