What are your symptoms? What medication are you taking? And how do you manage your symptoms?

Well first is it IBS C or D

Because those are completely opposite beasts.

Neither of which I’d pour my heart about online.

You become a Knight of the Blue Flame in a trial by fire. Everyone should join that club.

Everyone I've known with IBS has some sort of trigger, which usually ties to eating like shite. Not fat.

Have a friend who has it and he puts down so many mountain dews a day he got kidney stones. I know there are edge cases of true IBS, but I think a lot is manageable by diet.

Had the worst case of IBS a couple weeks ago lasting 6 days. Just took some Pepto pills.

Are you talking about irritable bowel or inflammatory bowel?

People tend to confuse the 2 and the latter is far worse

Symptoms? Sometimes I shite like 4 times a day. Never feels like I completely empty out. When I do need to shite, it can come on suddenly. Basically feels like a bunch of trapped gas that needs to get out, but has to get some waste out of the way first. Occasionally, I’ll feel gassy but can’t get it out. That’s the worst. The stool chart doesn’t make me proud of myself. I’m pushing 40, and am ready to get the scope, just so I can be sure it’s only IBS.

I don’t take meds. I just try to eat at good times, and always careful when I’m on the road and things like that. Otherwise, there could be worse inconveniences in life.
